I love the idea of French knots in the yellow. I also think it needs some hand stitched dark lines in the upper area of the red for leafless trees.
This painting is so beautiful and poetic. I think it needs a gentle touch. My advise would be to go slow.
My word this is gorgeous as is! Depending on how you proceed it will be beyond gorgeous! But no pressure...:)
Be careful what you wish for...
I've been leafing through my Georgia O'Keeffe books, so I'm thinking a honking BIG sculptural bone of some kind in the Southwestern landscape :)
