Snowy Fall Day

This was what was going outside my studio window yesterday afternoon. Snow in October? A mini-blizzard in October? One of the wonders of living in the Hudson Valley. What's a woman to do? If you're me it means you do ART and try your hand at nuno felting.








I created a base layer that I then added stitching and dyed masa paper to. This piece is about 5x7". I'm not quite sure how I'm going to finish and mount it. Maybe burn the edges? Maybe attach it to a cloth wrapped piece of canvas? Decisions, decisions...This might just be the piece I submit to the WRS's annual Members Show but what orientation? Decisions, decisions...
