A New Year and Some New Work.

Happy New Year and Holy Crap! I haven't blogged since May???? I knew it had been awhile but was surprised at how long the while really was. I have been busy with the usual stuff of life. In my world this means the day job, cooking, laundry (still working on that cleaning the house thing) and creating. I continue to explore abstract art. It is my passion. I adore their serendipitous and intuitive natures. I have said this before but there is something very elemental about abstracts. The artist creates them from somewhere within themselves and the viewer brings their own inner self when considering them. I believe that when an abstract work calls to a viewer the artist and observer have connected on a level from below the surface. Very special.

Oops! Long time, no blog. Denise, this particular boat is getting somewhat cramped!
Yes, the busy-ness of ordinary living does sometimes impinge.
Pleased you're still "painting." The "pods" had your attention for a while.Me? Not so much. But the abstracts ring a few bells.
2014 was a rough year, but here's to improvements all round in 2015.

According to Stanford Medical, It is indeed the one and ONLY reason women in this country get to live 10 years longer and weigh 42 lbs lighter than we do.

(And by the way, it is not about genetics or some secret-exercise and really, EVERYTHING about "how" they eat.)

BTW, I said "HOW", not "WHAT"...
