From here it's a short hope to painting directly on the fabric and skipping piecing altogether. These days I'm having a hard time cutting up the pieces that I have painted.
Its taking me a while, but gradually I am clicking onto everyone's blog whose on Textile Threads. I really love these layers of abstract inmagery. (And an option to piecing could be fusing, fabric collages, unless that makes your skin crawl!
