Worked on this all day...I'm not sure of the fabric auditioning as the 'frame' so I'm going to let it rest until tomorrow.....I must say I am happy with how the focal piece came out.

I love the snakey vines both in the applique and the quilting :-)
The focal piece is beautiful...such wonderful colors.
I think the border fabric is great. Congrats on breaking the size barrier!
I really like the center. Does it need a frame? But maybe it works after all -- it does make the center look good!
Just went back to look at it again. What about something with that dark purple in it?
