Funkadelic Dishtowels

I have been busy dyeing and discharging dish towels! I found dishtowels already sewn and ready to dye on dharma trading's site. These are my first attempts and while a bit dark they are still a lot of fun, don't you think? I love having cool items for everyday type of activities - like an assortment of all different pottery bowls to use for breakfast Cheerios or hand knitted cotton wash cloths, etc, etc. I'm going to try to make a bunch more of these to use as gifts and maybe even to sell....we'll see....the best laid plans in my busy world never all seem to happen!

Denise, they could be a good start to a journal or art quilt.
You would like my pots all bright colours with spots on, as my hands play me up l bought a big picnic set in the summer and have a 30 piece set all in great colours. But as there light there just right
Here in the uk its the rage to have everything in the kitchen in pink and blue and even a brush will be blue and the handle wih be pink with chinze roses, mostly for the young ones but l got an ice crusher in shocking pink and pink and blue rose apron, l used to love the kitchen in Friends,

These are terrific. I would hate to use them in the kitchen and would be inclined to cut them up to go into some work.
