What does this image look like to you? I drew this while sitting and relaxing (relaxing is not something that comes my way too often so I savor it when it can happen). I live in Australia - take a look at some of our Aboriginal art!
Not sure that I'd be brave enough to do this in a screen, but it does have relief print possibilities.
This, to me, looks like when you're at work or at school (high school for me) and your eyes hurt and burn from being so tired. You just cant deal with it any more and you put your head in the crook of your arm,on your desk to just give them a rest...just for...a...minute ahhhhhhhhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I was immediately reminded of the henna tatoos traditionally applied to the hands in some cultures. Very intricate, winding, and lovely. I hope your silk screen is successful.
D,to clarify myself, thats the figure that I actually see in this piece. I like this, its a bit tribal and freeing.
You're too funny Michele...I'm kind of in the same image mindset as you...to me this is a nest with an egg gently protected from the world.

It is like a beautiful doily. I am envious,as I have no understanding of the process to arrive at the finised product. Art for Art Sake, is what I always say. A place where the best art comes from. I hope you understand.
