Sometimes I feel a longing for something just a bit beyond sight and reach...just beyond my human understanding and knowledge. Can anyone else relate to this feeling?
It's true, we do all have a longing in our makeup. The only time I don't feel that longing is when I am in right relationship with my savior, Jesus Christ.

I can. I've been feeling it quite a lot lately. It's coalescing around the idea of "spiritual longing" -- although I don't mean anything religious.
It's hard, sometimes, for me, to separate the feeling from regret, but it is different.

Totally. I think it is part of what drives us forward, and keeps us looking back too, always examining, searching for that spark.
