More sheer fabric painting happened early this morning. Now I need to finish stitching the first one done a couple of weeks ago and this one. If I can do that and complete two more I might - just might - submit them to the local gallery that has expressed interest in my work (of course it will still have to go through a jury process and who knows where that will go!).Thoughts, musings and randomness from a woman whose passions infringe on her life in the everyday world. I've been following your "sheer fabric" posts and thinking you should check out

I watched her painting on sheers down in FL this year. I was thinking that the fabric got all stiff and un-sewable but it didn't. Do you know about Emily Richardsons work?
This is very interesting Denise. Please post the finished stitched work also--would love to see that.
i love the color pallet.
Yep I also want to see the end results. Can I come visit with you and play with fabric and dye? Honestly I am just dipping my toes in the fabric dye process and I owe it all to you. You really inspire me Denise!
