These pieces with foiling, beads and shimmer paint are really difficult to photograph....of course, the fact that the batteries in my camera need recharging doesn't help any either! Anyway, this is another in that series inspired by cairns, standing stones and now old stone building elements. Another 4x6'er....but I do think I'm going to start on a larger one today...might even reach for those double digits.

Really nice! Good luck on enlarging your projects.
LOVE this, Denise. Love the "beads". I find a 12 x 12 inch and under to be my most favorite size to work in. that make me in the "double digits". Go for it!
I just have to say this is stop-me-in-my-tracks beautiful! Can't wait to see the outcome of a larger piece!
Its fantastic! Looking forward to see more !
Wow! This one is by far my favorite! The colors and beads and stitching all work well to convey the sense of beauty now disintegrating. WTG!

I loved looking at it close up! Great colours and texture, harmony!

I love how this piece turned out. What texture!!! Keep on making pieces in the sizes you are happiest making. Whenever I force myself to make something I feel I should (rather than what I want), it looks and feels forced.
fascinating piece visually. Very evocative and mysterious.
